FAQ

Where do you work?

My main office is located in London. However, currently I only see clients virtually over video or voice call. This means I can work with you wherever you are, and I am very comfortable dealing with shifting time zones, nomadic living or other travel committments that lead to location changes.

What are your fees?

My standard rate is £115 for a 50 minute individual session and £145 for a 50 minute couples session.

Fees for longer sessions can be discussed.

Do you offer concessions?

Yes. I operate on a sliding scale and offer concessionary rates for students and those on no/low-income. These slots are however very limited, so please contact me if you are in need of a concession rate as I cannot guarantee availability.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, I am registered with the Private Practice Register (Healthcode) which covers AXA, Aviva and Vitality.

What areas do you work with?

My clinical experience is wide-ranging, including general areas such as emotional dysregulation and distress, depression and anxiety experiences, interpersonal difficulties and relationship patterns, as well as existental concerns concerning meaning, purpose and death.

I have extensive experience working with sexual violence and abuse, as well as childhood trauma and complex post traumatic stress disorder, and the difficult and deep effect this can have on a person’s life and sense of self.

I also work with a variety of psychosexual issues, including (but not limited to) desire disrepancy, compulsive sexual behaviours, and erection and/or orgasm difficulties.

I have experience addressing issues to do with kink/BDSM, and alternative/non-traditional relationship styles (including polyamory and ethical non-monogamy), and I am dedicated to practicing in a non-judgmental and intersectional manner, regardless of ethnicity, culture, disability, gender or sexuality. I am sex work positive and am happy to see clients who work within this field.

Other areas I work with include (but is not limited to) bereavement, body image concerns, infertility, anger, shame and guilt, self-worth, chronic health conditions, work stress and burnout, as well as psychedelic integration.

Generally, if you are worried about a specific issue that is not listed above, please get in touch to enquire how suitable of a fit us working together would be.

How long do you see clients for?

I typically work with clients on a more long-term basis. This means I normally see people for 6 months or more, sometimes lasting multiple years. This of course differs depending on your preference and the complexity of the issues we are working on in therapy, but therapy works best when we both commit to the process.

However, there is no minimum time comittment obligation, and we would always review the progress of therapy on a regular basis to make sure we are on the same page on how our work is going.

What languages do you work in?

I work in English and Swedish. I can also work with clients who speak Norwegian and Danish due to the similarity to Swedish.

I am also experienced in working with interpreters. If this is something you are interested in, please get in touch and we can discuss potential arrangements for this.

Do you work with couples?

Yes I am happy to work with couples. I also work with relationships that are more non-traditional, including setups such as ethical non-monogamy/polyamory.
